I want to personally invite you to join us at First Baptist Church of Meadowview. We are a Bible-believing, family-friendly church located in Mesquite, Texas. Our church is a place where you can grow in your knowledge of Christ through His Word, enjoy life-giving fellowship, and serve our community with friends.
More important than your coming to our church is your knowing that when you pass on from this life, you will go on living in Heaven with Jesus. God’s Word, the Bible, tells us there is a way we can know where we will spend eternity once we die (I John 5:13). To understand how Heaven can be your home, click here.

What We Believe
- 1We believe that the Bible is the inspired, the only infallible, and authoritative Word of God. We believe that the King James Version of the Bible is the most accurate English translation of the Word of God, and it is the standard by which we preach the Gospel.
- 2We believe in the One True God, who exists in three united persons. The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. The great three in one.
- 3We believe that God came to earth in the form of the man Christ Jesus. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and willingly gave his life up to die on the cross. He was buried and three days later rose again, paying the price for our sins. We believe He will return someday as King.
- 4We believe that salvation from death and Hell is found by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and it is open for everyone with no stipulations.
- 5We believe that there will be a resurrection of the dead. For those who have put their faith in Christ a resurrection to Eternal Life with Him, and for those who rejected Christ a resurrection to eternal torment in Hell.
- 6We believe in the unity of believers in the Family of God, but that God manifests His church in the local, visible, and independent churches around the world.
- 7We believe in Christ’s imminent return, and hold to a Premillennial view of end time prophecy.

CHILDREN
Children need to learn about God and that living for Him is the best way to live! Our children’s ministries are more than babysitting – they have been developed to make church spiritually productive and enjoyable for your child as they will love the games, songs, and Bible lessons from our trained teachers each week.
TEENAGERS
Our prayer is that teenagers will trust Jesus for salvation, find their God-given purpose in life, and be used mightily in the lives of their peers to bring honor and glory to God. We want to invite you to come fellowship with us. Join us in our endeavor to reach our community for Christ, and search the scriptures with us as we study His Word together.
ADULTS
Whether it is strengthening your marriage, raising children, recovering from divorce or addiction, or simply growing in the Christian life – the adult ministries at First Baptist Church will connect you with others like yourself for Bible studies, fellowships, and activities. Regardless of your age or background, there is something for you!
